Thank you, anonymous...

Today a woman I had never seen before stopped by the office and dropped a gift off for me- a beautiful leather-bound NIV Life Application Study Bible with a super-cool and cute carrying case for it! An anonymous card came with it spilling praises and encouragements that I will never feel worthy of. How it brightened my day!

Here is how my brand new Bible came to live with me:

There were several of us chatting before my Tuesday night Bible Study- talking about terrible gifts our husbands have given us (my girlfriend just got a 10 lb. wheel of cheese for her birthday... seriously.) and how they never take hints. As I was laughing about the cheese wheel... I threw out a that I had been hinting to the Mr. about getting me a Life Application Bible year after year at Christmas... and he never took it. I said I was now the only one in our home who didn't own one. Someone else jumped in at that point and told their story. I never gave the conversation a second thought.

And then this Thursday morning... in walks my new Bible, wrapped in mystery.

Since I can't write a proper thank-you note (as any good Southern girl would do), I will do my best to pay it forward! Thank you, whoever you are, for your generosity and thoughtfulness!

Isn't it so cool the way God sends a boost of encouragement your way? Out of the blue, completely unexpected and so totally right on time!
