A need has arisen...

to prepare for possible vents on my personal site.

My in-laws have moved in with us. They have no money, no retirement, no prospects, and well... no place to live. They have filed professional and personal bankruptcy and I'm pretty sure are hiding from being served on several lawsuits. They've been here officially for three days. As far as I can tell, we will be paying for the food and other living expenses of the household.

We put them in the (really nice) basement guest bedroom downstairs (where I had my mother's furniture from when she was growing up). Mom's furniture is now piled in the craft (crap) room along with the luggage, camping supplies, and Christmas decorations. We moved in their HUGE furniture and belongings and displaced mine.

I have cooked every night so far- but I don't know how long I can keep that up. In the first three days, they haven't done one dish.

I am determined to not let this get to me and to not speak negatively of them to my husband.

So far, so good. I am praying for grace. And I'm really glad I kept this site in tact so I have a place to be real, since I'm pretty much on my own on this. I can't vent to anyone in the church they will be attending (ours!). And no one else is really in my life that I can to talk to, especially since the husband is out. It makes my own mom too mad to talk to her about it- just the fact that my in-laws never took care of business and ended up in this situation in the first place (though I've seen this coming for years and years- it was always just a matter of when).

In the meantime, I'm trying to keep my chin up, my house clean, and my heart pure. Your prayers are appreciated. :)
